Moreover, the call for action includes demands for the dismissal and prosecution of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Ajay Mishra Teni, linked to the Lakhimpur Kheri massacre.
Highlighting their commitment to nationwide solidarity, a tractor parade has been slated for Republic Day, January 26. Set to span 500 districts, farmers participating in these parades will affirm their allegiance to democratic values as they wave national flags alongside banners representing agricultural and labor organizations.
The expansive outreach effort seeks to engage at least 40% of the nation's households, rallying support against what the farmers describe as exploitative corporate interests aligned with the BJP-led Modi government.
