Hawkins Cooker Fixed Deposit Scheme details
The firm is authorized to raise Rs 48.88 cr from fixed deposit scheme (Rs 13.97 crore from members & Rs 34.91 crore from people). The minimum amount a person can deposit in this scheme is Rs 25,000 and extra amount in multiples of Rs 1,000 would be acceptable. The amount proposed to be raised via this FD scheme will be used to meet company’s working capital requirements and for meeting unexpected contingencies.
FD is available in 2 schemes - Scheme A & Scheme B. Scheme A is cumulative (interest compounded monthly) in nature while Scheme B is non-cumulative (interest will be paid half-yearly).
FD is available in 3 tenures i.e. 12 months, 24 months and 36 months. For 12 months tenure, the company is giving an interest rate of 8.5 percent, for 24 months & 36 months, it is offering 8.75 percent and 9 percent respectively.
Credit rating
As per the company prospectus, the FDs carry MAA (stable) rating from ICRA. This rating ensures high credit quality and less chances of default.

In order to invest in this fixed deposit scheme, the investors will have to pre-register their interest online @ https://www.hawkinscookers.com/ from 9:30 am onwards on 18 September 2020.
