Big news for farmers! As per several media reports, the government may release the 13th Installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on or before Christmas i.e., 25 December 2022.
However, the government has made no official announcement regarding releasing the installment on Christmas.
No PM Kisan Installment Without e-KYC
Before the financial assistance is released, the Centre has asked all the beneficiaries of the scheme to update their e-KYC. Although most of them have completed it, still there are many who haven’t done it till now. Farmers who have not updated the e-KYC may not get Rs. 2000.

PM Kisan website was launched to assist farmers in uploading their details at a single web portal in a uniform structure. Likewise, there is a facility in the PM Kisan website wherein farmers can submit any grievances related to the scheme.
The Department has asked the farmers to submit their complaints in PM Kisan Portal or Mobile App or contact the respective Agriculture office or Agriculture Extension.
It is worth mentioning that there are various factors owing to which, beneficiaries do not receive the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana and one of them is mismatch in the spelling of the name in the bank account and that on the Aadhaar Card. To address this issue, the Centre has made e-KYC verification compulsory for all the eligible farmers of PM Kisan Yojana for smooth transfer of financial aid.
The e-KYC verification of the farmers can be done by OTP as well as biometric method. The e-KYC authentication of farmers through OTP mode can be done on the PM Kisan website, free of cost by the beneficiaries /State functionaries. On the other hand, for biometric authentication facilities, the farmer will have to visit the nearest CSC. The CSC will take nominal for it. For any query related to e-KYC, you can contact the concerned Zonal Agriculture Office/ Field functionaries of the Agriculture Department.
Also, farmers must use only the official portal of the PM Kisan and do not download any other App for e-KYC authentication.
How to update e-KYC online?

Go to official website of PM Kisan

On the right-hand side, search for Farmers Corner option.

There you will find eKYC link. Click it.

Now enter your Aadhar number & image code

Then click the search button

After this enter your mobile number linked with Aadhaar and enter the OTP

If all the information provided is correct then eKYC will be completed or else not.
How to Check The Updated PM Kisan Beneficiary Status & List
Farmers must also check beneficiary status and updated list to know the exact status of their application. For this, they will have to go to the official website, and under the Farmers Corner section, click on beneficiary status or beneficiary list to know the details.
