Then in 2016, she participated in JEEViKA, a state government initiative aimed at improving the social and economic empowerment of the rural poor in Bihar.

She began cultivating an impressive range of crops and spices, such as maize, paddy, broken wheat, turmeric, chili, and coriander. Her innovative approach extended beyond farming itself. She decided to prepare her spices organically, ensuring both quality and authenticity. This decision became the cornerstone of her unique venture, setting her apart from competitors.
Building a Business and Empowering Others
Initially seeking employment to sustain herself, Asina soon realized the potential of turning her spice farming into a small business. With a clear vision, she began to save money to grow spices organically and started selling her products. This venture not only provided her with financial independence but also allowed her to employ and empower other women. She now collaborates with 50 female farmers, providing them with sustainable employment and better income opportunities.

From using cow dung to make compost to producing chemical-free, organic spices, her methods are both eco-friendly and innovative. She even grinds the spices through the traditional cold-pressing technique using a mortar and pestle, preserving their natural flavor and nutritional value. Her spices cater to a variety of Indian cuisines and are sold across different states in India.

Determined to overcome these hurdles, she made the bold decision to secure a loan amounting to ₹6 lakhs.
