Lekh Ram Yadav, a progressive farmer from a traditional farming family in the Kotputli district of Rajasthan, has transformed organic farming into a thriving enterprise worth Rs 17 crore. Driven by passion and innovation, he began his journey five years ago with just 120 acres of land. Today, he cultivates over 1,100 acres across Jaipur, Nagaur, and Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, as well as Botad in Gujarat, growing a diverse range of grains, fruits, vegetables, and spices.

He grows grains, fruits, vegetables, spices, and is also involved in dairy farming and agricultural tourism. His farm has now become an inspirational model of organic farming in the country. Recently, Lekh Ram became a part of Krishi Jagran's initiative, the "Global Farmer Business Network."

Lekh Ram holds a postgraduate degree in biotechnology. After completing his studies, he specialized in DNA fingerprinting and GMO testing, and worked as a Technical Manager in a NABL-accredited lab. However, the hustle and bustle of urban life and emerging health issues prompted him to consider a new direction.

He realized that working close to nature and making a positive contribution to society brings true satisfaction. So, he decided to take up farming. It was not an easy decision, but he listened to his heart and stepped into the field of agriculture. His journey began with the cultivation of aloe vera, but he initially incurred losses. Despite the setbacks, he did not give up and continued to move forward with determination.

He devoted himself to learning the nuances of organic farming. He immersed himself in knowledge through YouTube videos, seminars, books, and guidance from experts. YouTube became his virtual teacher, and he kept learning day and night.
During this time, he discovered the “Tarachand Belji Technique” (TCBT)—a modern technology that enhances plant growth based on nanotechnology and energy science. He implemented this technique on his fields and obtained excellent results.
Inspired by the success of TCBT, he applied it across all his farms, significantly improving both the quality and quantity of his produce. This technique brought a transformative change to his farming model.

In addition, he embraced the principles of the ancient Indian agricultural science "Vrikshayurveda"—a natural method that promotes plant growth using ash and biochemicals. This technique is entirely eco-friendly.

Lekh Ram did not limit himself to farming alone. He also ventured into dairy farming, raising indigenous Sahiwal cows and producing A2 type pure organic milk, ghee, and cheese.
His dairy is now certified for A2 milk production. This milk is known for its health benefits, leading to a rapid increase in the demand for his dairy products and significantly boosting his income.
Alongside farming and dairy, Lekh Ram also ventured into agricultural tourism. He launched a project called “56 Bhog Vatika” on 22 acres of land, where visitors can experience organic farming firsthand.

This project is registered with the Agricultural Tourism Department of Rajasthan. Guests can stay on the farm, enjoy organic food, and learn sustainable farming techniques. This initiative also provides an additional source of income.
Lekh Ram's company, 'UB Organic India,' sells grains, spices, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products both online and offline across the country. The high quality of these products is widely appreciated by consumers.
Today, his annual turnover exceeds Rs17 crore. His success is the result of relentless hard work, dedication, and acquiring knowledge in the right direction. His farm has now become a source of inspiration for the youth.

In recognition of his achievements, he received the 'Millionaire Organic Farmer of India' Award 2024 in the National Category at the MFOI Awards 2024, organized by Krishi Jagran and sponsored by Mahindra Tractors.
Lekh Ram Yadav’s story shows that with the right mindset and honesty, one can achieve remarkable success—even in a traditional field like farming. He has set a new benchmark by integrating organic farming, modern technology, and traditional knowledge.
