From Pharmaceutical Beginnings to an Organic Revolution

Determined to bring this vision to life, Her Father Sanjay Agarwal purchased 1 acre of land in Murthal, Haryana during COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and began their journey into organic farming of Herbal, Ornamental, and Medicinal plants. With knowledge and deep learning passion, they took their first steps toward revolutionizing farming practices.
The global health crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 became a turning point for Shreya and her father, Sanjay Agarwal. With unwavering determination, Agarwal acquired a one-acre plot in Murthal, Haryana, during the pandemic. They set out to cultivate Herbal, Ornamental, and Medicinal plants, armed with a passion for knowledge and a deep desire to transform traditional farming into something extraordinary.
Laying Foundations Through Learning: Birth of Dr. Ovanics
Eager to refine their techniques, Shreya sought guidance from the prestigious Pusa Institute of Technology, Delhi, where she mastered modern agricultural solutions such as Organic farming techniques, drip irrigation techniques, and more. By late 2021, with the help of just two dedicated farmers, their farm successfully produced organic fruits, vegetables, and Ayurvedic herbs.
By 2022, their organic farm was officially established under the name Dr. Ovanics. What began as a small farm evolved into a thriving venture producing ornamental plants, organic produce, and medicinal herbs, many of which are key ingredients in Satya Pharmaceuticals’ Ayurvedic medicines. Shreya’s goal was clear: to integrate cutting-edge agricultural technology with sustainable practices, all while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
Empowering Farmers and Promoting Sustainability
Beyond their farming efforts, Shreya and her team are committed to empowering India’s farmers. Twice a month, they offer free training sessions on modern farming techniques and machinery usage, fostering self-reliance among local farmers and empowering them. This initiative has already inspired many to embrace sustainable practices.
Additionally, Shreya envisions producing vermicompost, cow dung manure, neem extracts, and other organic supplements through Dr. Ovanics. These products aim to support agricultural sustainability.
A Family Legacy Rooted in Ayurveda
Shreya’s passion for Ayurveda is deeply rooted in her family’s heritage. Her grandmother, Dr. Satyavati Gupta, is an Ayurvedic doctor who cultivated many herbal plants on their home balcony, embodying the spirit of natural healing. Her father, who founded Satya Pharmaceuticals 30 years ago, instilled the values of purity and authenticity that Shreya continues to uphold. She joined Satya Pharmaceuticals seven years ago, and now Shreya Agarwal envisions and aims to establish new Ayurvedic wellness, personal care, and beauty products that are entirely free from preservatives.

Shreya’s ambitions for Dr. Ovanics know no bounds. Within the next two years, she plans to expand their offerings to include organic home grow kits, plants, crop supplements, and vermicompost for both domestic and international markets.
