Dhanuka Agritech Limited, a leading player in India's crop protection industry, has announced the launch of Wetcit Neo, a plant-based biosolution adjuvant designed to enhance the application efficiency of crop protection and crop nutrition products. The product aims to help farmers get more from every spray by improving spray coverage, reducing spray drift and facilitating better absorption, particularly on crops with waxy leaf surfaces.
Commenting on the launch of Wetcit Neo, the management of Dhanuka Agritech Limited stated, "Efficient application of agricultural inputs is essential for helping farmers achieve better outcomes from their crop protection and nutrition practices. Wetcit Neo addresses a key challenge by improving spray spreading, coverage and absorption, particularly on crops where waxy leaf surfaces can limit the effectiveness of conventional sprays. Through innovative, plant-based technology, we aim to support more efficient input application and contribute to improved crop management practices."
Categorised as a biosolution, Wetcit Neo is formulated to reduce the surface tension of spray water, enabling spray droplets to spread more uniformly and adhere more effectively to plant surfaces instead of rolling off.
By improving contact between spray solutions and plant surfaces, the adjuvant is designed to support the effective delivery of crop protection products, including applications targeting insects and fungal diseases. Its broad compatibility with many existing agrochemical formulations also offers flexibility in agricultural spray applications, subject to product-label recommendations.
With the introduction of Wetcit Neo, Dhanuka Agritech continues to expand its crop solutions portfolio, focusing on technologies designed to improve application efficiency, optimise agricultural input use and support farmers in addressing diverse crop management challenges.
