The State Bank of India (SBI) has recently released the application form for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers position. Interested and eligible candidates can go through the application form which is available on the official website of SBI @sbi.co.in. Candidates must note that the last date to submit the form is July 13.

A total number of 20 positions are opened up for the role, which is divided in several categories. SBI released a detailed notification in the same regard. The notification mentions that candidates, who would apply for the job, are required to give documents like resume, ID proof, age proof, educational qualification, their experience among others.
Eligibility criteria
Age: The minimum age of the eligible candidates who are interested should be 25 which should not extend beyond 35 years. Age will be calculated as on January 1, 2020.
Education Qualification: The candidate must have completed CA/ MBA (finance)/PGDM (finance)/PGDBM (finance) or any equivalent post-graduation degree from a recognised university or college.
Interested candidate should have an email ID which should be kept active till the announcement of result. It will help him or her in getting call letter/ interview advices etc. via email. Fee Structure for SBI SO recruitment 2020
The application fee is Rs 750 for candidates belonging to General, OBC and EWS category. It can be paid using internet banking, debit card, and credit card. However, no application fee would be charged for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/Tribe or PWD.
Salary Criteria
Finally selected candidates will get a salary in the range of Rs 42,020 to Rs 51,490. These officials will also be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributory Pension Fund, LFC, Medical Facility etc, according rules.
Selection Criteria
The shortlisting of candidates will be purely provisional without verification of documents. But, the documents would be verified at the time of the interview & candidates can also be asked to give original papers of the same.
To be selected for the job, candidates don’t have to give any written exam. A shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters. Then, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by SBI will be shortlisted and called for interview. This interview will be of 100 marks. The qualifying marks in which will be decided by the bank. If more than one candidate scores the same marks, elder candidates will be given preference.
