Government Job: The Delhi Police (DP) has declared vacancies for 5846 posts of constables. The application process has begun from August 1, 2020.These vacant positions will be filled by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). The good news is that salary will be paid as per the 7th Pay Commission system.
Delhi Police Job 2020: Vacancies
1. The total vacancies available are 5846 posts. Out of which there are 3902 male candidates’ posts & 1944 female candidates.
2. From the 3902 male vacancies, 3433 vacancies are for the position of male Constable EXE, 226 are for male ex-servicemen and 243 vacancies for ex-military commandos.

Educational Qualification
The interested candidates must note that the minimum qualification required is 12th pass. However, for OBC candidates, the age limit is 18-27 years & the age limit for SC/ST candidates is 18-30 years.

7th Pay Commission Pay Scale level:
Please Note- The salary for these vacancies will be paid as per the 7th Pay Commission (CPC).
The selected candidates will be paid salary as per the 7th Pay Commission Pay Scale Level. The salary payment will be between Rs 21,700 and Rs 69,000.
Delhi police Jobs 2020: Selection Criteria

The selection for these candidates will be done based on a computer based examination which will be of 90 minutes. This exam will be of 90 marks with 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The result of the exam will be declared by the SSC.

Those who qualify the written test will be called for appearing in the PE&MT Medical Examination. The selected candidates shall be medically examined by Doctors in selected Government Hospitals in Delhi according to the prescribed standards.
Delhi police Job 2020: Application Fee
For candidates belonging to General or OBC or EWS, the application fee is Rs 100. However, there is no fee for SC/ST and women candidates.
Documents Required:
Candidates must have their 10th and 12th mark sheets (with board certificate), Driving License (for male), cast certificate (central), permanent residence certificate and Aadhaar card.
