While addressing the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad's 90th foundation week's opening ceremony (MPSP), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it is not only the government's obligation to make the state the nation's and the world's leading economy, but also that of the people, who should contribute in this direction while carrying out their duties.
This month, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the G-20, the powerful group of 20 nations that control 80 per cent of the global economy. When the entire world was battling the pandemic, India was sincerely and diligently developing fresh strategies for its inhabitants. Additionally, the PM established a significant goal for the nation during this time by announcing the National Education Policy (NEP). The educational policy demonstrates how to achieve global development. After becoming affiliated with the NEP, all educational institutions should be prepared for social and national responsibilities, he continued.
He further said that India is making progress and setting new benchmarks amid Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. A nation with 135 crore population has replaced Britain, which colonized India for 200 years and rose to become the fifth-largest economy in the world. It demonstrates India's rising status on the world stage.
At the gathering, he added that India was making significant advancements in research, infrastructure, and development.
He used examples of former president APJ Abdul Kalam and former air chief marshal RKS Bhadauria, as he tried to motivate pupils.
"The ones who do not give up even after failure become a new inspiration," Yogi Adityanath stated.
He also recalled Mahant Digvijayanath in his speech, who had founded the Maharana Pratap Education Council in order to revitalise education in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
He said that today the people of Bihar were looking at Gorakhpur as a paradigm of development for job prospects.
In the last ten years, the district's residents could not have envisioned six-lane roads or expressways, but suddenly they were a reality, he remarked during the gathering held in Digvijayanath Park.
More investment would flow into this region, he noted, if tourism promotion and infrastructural reforms were implemented.
On Sunday, he claimed that millions of youths in Uttar Pradesh would have access to jobs owing to the proposed Global Investors Summit-2023 (GIS-2023). He also said that Uttar Pradesh was on track to surpass the rest of the nation's economies and will eventually reach a trillion-dollar GDP.
