If you ever see a Black Apple, would you purchase or eat it? Yes, the Black Apples known as Black Diamond are coming from China; the breed is of Chinese Red Delicious. In China, the name of this variety is Hua Niu. The fruit is fetched high value which is 50 yuan (€6.37) per fruit hence the Chinese farmers are tempted to grow only Black Apples.

The apples are Black in color as they get their unique dark purple color from the geographical conditions of Nyingchi, in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The main cause of why these fruits turn dark is the notable temperature differences between day and night, and the intense sunlight and ultraviolet light which causes their skin to go from the characteristic deep red to dark purple.

The Chinese company Dandong Tianluo Sheng Nong E-Commerce Trade Ltd has set up a 50-hectare orchard at an elevation of 3,100 meters above sea level
