Delhi Rains: IMD issues Orange & Yellow Alert for 26th & 27th July
The India Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy sky with moderate rain along with thunderstorms accompanied with gusty winds of the speed of 30 to 40 km/hr. in Delhi on 26th July. IMD predicted cloudy sky with light to moderate rain along with thunderstorms and gusty winds in Delhi for 27th July. IMD issued an orange alert for 26th July and a yellow alert for 27th July.
Karnataka Weather: Red Alert issued in Several Districts of Karnataka
Bengaluru: Extremely heavy rain has been predicted in districts of Karnataka with many districts already seeing flooding. A red alert has been issued for Uttara Kannada, Udupi & Dakshina Kannada, as well as the south interior Chikmangaluru, Kodagu, Karnataka, Hassan and Shivamogga. The North Karnataka districts have been badly affected by the heavy rain with rives in the area spate. Water is being releases from the dams in these areas including the Almatti dam.

The India Meteorological Department predicts scattered to fairly widespread rains at the northwestern plains on 24th July Saturday. The rainfall activity will undergo with enhancement thereafter with isolated heavy to very heavy rains on the cards of Uttar Pradesh on 25th & 26th July

IMD predicted heavy to very heavy rains over Konkan, Goa, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, Nagaland, Madhya Pradesh, Mizoram Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Karnataka, Tripura & Kerala. Thunderstorms might occur over Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan & Telangana.

The weather monitoring agency predicts heavy rains is likely to take place over Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Chandigarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, Mizoram, Karnataka & Tripura on 26th July.
