
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued fresh warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall across several parts of the country as multiple weather systems continue to influence monsoon activity. A well-marked low-pressure area over the northwest Bay of Bengal, along with associated cyclonic circulations, is expected to bring significant rainfall over the coming week. In addition, a Western Disturbance over north Pakistan and cyclonic circulations over south Punjab and central Madhya Pradesh are contributing to widespread rain across several regions.
