The Southwest Monsoon is picking up pace, spreading across more parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Karnataka including Bengaluru, and much of Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and the Northeast. According to the India Meteorological Department, conditions are now ideal for the monsoon to cover more regions in the coming days. Meanwhile, heavy to extremely heavy rainfall is set to lash the west coast—including Kerala, coastal Karnataka, Goa, and Mumbai, over the next week, bringing much-needed relief and a wet start to the season. Here are the Details
