Monsoon Advancement So Far
The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into major parts of the Arabian Sea, Maharashtra (including Mumbai), Karnataka (including Bengaluru), Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and the Northeastern states. The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) now passes through key cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Sholapur, Mahbubnagar, and Agartala.

West India: Rain for Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa
Heavy showers are set to drench large parts of west India including Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Gujarat. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is expected over Konkan and ghats of Madhya Maharashtra.

Northeast India: Persistent Rain Through the Week
