The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted intense rainfall activity across the western coast of India and neighboring regions, with the possibility of the Southwest Monsoon making landfall in Kerala within the next two days. Meanwhile, parts of northwestern India, including Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir, continue to reel under heatwave conditions. Here are the details
IMD reports that conditions are favorable for the Southwest Monsoon to set in over Kerala within the next two days. The monsoon is currently advancing, with its northern limit extending from the southern Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal. In the coming days, rainfall associated with the monsoon is expected in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Lakshadweep, and parts of Northeast India.
