A Western Disturbance is currently observed as a cyclonic circulation over northern Pakistan and adjoining areas. It extends to the middle and upper tropospheric levels along Long. 71°E to the north of Lat. 30°N.

Under its influence, isolated rainfall/snowfall is expected in the Western Himalayan Region, while isolated rainfall is likely in West Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan on 24rd January 2025.

2. Northeast India:

A cyclonic circulation over East Bangladesh and its vicinity will lead to thunderstorm activity in isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh and northeast Assam on 24th January 2025.
Temperature Forecast

Northwest India: A gradual drop of 2-4°C in minimum temperatures is predicted over the next three days, followed by stabilization.

Central India: No significant change in temperatures over the next 24 hours, followed by a 2-3°C decline.

East India: Minimum temperatures will remain stable for the next 48 hours, with a 2-4°C decline thereafter.
