The India Meteorological Department has predicted a varied weather pattern across the country. Heavy rainfall is expected in the Northeast, while temperatures are rising in the North and Central regions. Heat wave warnings have been issued for several states. Some areas will face thunderstorms and strong winds, while others will experience intense heat and high humidity. Here are the details:

Widespread Rainfall in Northeast and Southern States

Two active weather systems—an upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bihar and northeast Assam, along with a trough extending to the Gulf of Mannar and Manipur—are triggering unstable weather over large parts of India.
