A well-marked low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify into a depression. The states likely to experience extremely heavy rainfall include Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Odisha, Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Karnataka, and Gujarat.
