Monsoon Withdrawal from Northwest India
The line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon currently passes through Sri Ganganagar, Nagaur, Jodhpur, and Barmer in Rajasthan. According to IMD, conditions are favourable for further withdrawal from additional parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat over the next two days.

Northeast India to Receive Heavy Showers
The northeast is expected to witness consistent rainfall due to cyclonic circulations over Bihar, Assam, and Meghalaya. Arunachal Pradesh is set for very heavy rainfall on September 16, while Nagaland, Assam, and Meghalaya will face heavy spells on September 16. Rainfall activity will continue across Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura till September 21.
