India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued forecasts for the upcoming days, indicating intense monsoon activity driven by several cyclonic circulations and low-pressure systems. Various regions across Northwest, Northeast, Central, East, South, and West India are expected to experience diverse rainfall patterns, including extremely heavy showers and thunderstorms. Here are the details of the anticipated weather across India:

Weather Systems and Cyclonic Activity

Several upper air cyclonic circulations and a low-pressure area are shaping India’s weather this week. A low-pressure system is expected to form over the west-central Bay of Bengal by August 13 and intensify over the next two days. Other cyclonic circulations are noted over Central Bay of Bengal, North Interior Karnataka, Northwest Uttar Pradesh, and Northeast Assam.

Meanwhile, a Western Disturbance is influencing weather over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu & Kashmir. These weather systems are responsible for widespread rainfall and thunderstorms over large parts of India.
