The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a mix of rain, snowfall, thunderstorms, and heatwave conditions across various parts of the country. As multiple weather systems impact the subcontinent, regions in the north are likely to experience rain and snow, while parts of central, eastern, and western India brace for rising temperatures and potential heatwaves. Western Disturbance to Bring Rain and Snow in Northern Hills

A fresh Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over West Afghanistan and another over southwest Rajasthan are likely to trigger light to moderate rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorms across the western Himalayan region.
