The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released its latest weather bulletin, highlighting a mix of heavy rainfall in southern and northeastern parts of the country and severe heatwave conditions across northwest and central India. Here’s a region-wise details of what to expect over the next few days.

Cyclonic System Over Bay of Bengal Triggers Rainfall in South and Northeast

A fresh low-pressure area has developed over the south Bay of Bengal, likely to bring significant rainfall to southern and northeastern India. This system, supported by various cyclonic circulations and troughs, is set to move northwest and then northward in the coming days.
