Weather Update: Heavy Rainfall Alert for UP, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Bihar; Light Showers Likely in Delhi-NCR

IMD has forecast widespread rainfall across states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Assam, and Maharashtra due to multiple active weather systems. Delhi-NCR is also expected to receive light rain with cooler-than-normal temperatures.

Weather Update: Multiple weather systems, including cyclonic circulations and troughs, are actively influencing India's monsoon pattern, triggering widespread heavy rainfall across various regions. States like Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Himachal Pradesh are set to witness intense spells of rain, with isolated extremely heavy showers expected in some areas. Meanwhile, subdued rainfall activity is likely over central India for the next few days. Here is the region-wise forecast detail.

Northwest India: Heavy Showers to Lash the Hills and Plains

Northwestern India is bracing for a wet spell, with isolated locations in Uttarakhand and West Uttar Pradesh set to receive extremely heavy rainfall. Widespread showers are also predicted across Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Jammu-Kashmir during the week.
