Northwest India: Persistent Rainfall with Localised Flood Risk
Northwest India is likely to witness continued wet weather with isolated heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand till September 9. Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab are expected to face very heavy rainfall, while Rajasthan may see heavy showers between September 5 and 7.

West India: Gujarat and Konkan on Alert
Gujarat and coastal Maharashtra are likely to be the focal points of intense rainfall in western India. IMD has issued an extremely heavy rainfall alert for Gujarat between September 4 and 6, with Konkan & Goa also set to receive very heavy showers during this period.

Central & Eastern India: Intense Showers Ahead
Central and Eastern states are set to experience heavy to extremely heavy rainfall, particularly in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. On September 5, West Madhya Pradesh may face extremely heavy showers. Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim are expected to receive heavy rainfall from September 6 onwards.
