The IMD has predicted extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, West and East Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Rajasthan during the period from September 3 to September 8.
