The system, now lying over coastal Gangetic West Bengal and nearby areas, is expected to move slowly west-northwestwards across North Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand over the next two days. This system, along with other atmospheric circulations, is likely to bring significant rainfall activity across multiple regions of the country until July 6. Here are the details
Rainfall Forecast for East & Central India
A low-pressure system and associated troughs are expected to bring consistent rainfall to parts of East and Central India. Heavy rainfall is forecasted in Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha, with very heavy showers possible in Madhya Pradesh and East India on certain days.

Northwest India, including Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, will witness intense rainfall episodes through the first week of July. The IMD has issued warnings for very heavy rainfall especially in hill states and parts of Uttar Pradesh.
