Weather Warning: In view of significant reduction in rainfall activity over most parts of the country, Yesterday the Southwest Monsoon had withdrawn from the entire country, says the IMD reports in its morning bulletin.
Simultaneously with the setting in of northeasterly winds in the lower tropospheric levels, Yesterday, the Northeast Monsoon rains had commenced over extreme south peninsular India. Under its influence, scattered rainfall with moderate thunderstorm & lightning very likely over Kerala & Mahe and Tamilnadu & Puducherry during next 5 days with isolated heavy falls over south Tamilnadu during next 24 hours.

Generally dry weather very likely over most parts of Northwest, West, Central and East India during next 4 to 5 days.
Maximum & Minimum Temperature in India:
Maximum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over Assam & Meghalaya and Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal; at isolated places over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan & Muzaffarabad while Minimum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at most places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram Tripura.
