A mix of western disturbances and cyclonic circulations is set to bring widespread weather activity across India this week. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for rainfall, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and hailstorms in several regions including Northwest, Central, and South India.

States like Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala are likely to experience intense weather events from May 7 to May 12. Heatwave conditions are also expected to grip parts of Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and Jharkhand during the second half of the week. Here are the details
