The order is allocated by a renewable energy arm of one of India's leading steel manufacturing companies. On Wednesday, Waaree Renewable Technologies said it has bagged an order to build a 221.8 MWp solar power project from a steel maker.
In a BSE filing, it said, "We have received a Letter of Award (LoA) from one of India's leading steel manufacturing firms for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works of a solar power project of 221.8 MWp DC capacity."
As per the terms of the contract, the project is likely to be completed in the financial year 2023-24.
The financial details of the solar power project are not disclosed by Waaree Renewable Tech.
In addition to this, the company also received a letter of intent (LOI) for executing a 1 MW green hydrogen project last week in Maharashtra on a Built-Own-Operate basis.
