Essential Responsibilities:
Costing Methodology Ownership
Maintaining accurate costing practices across all ERP platforms to ensure that inventory valuation is accurate
It is your responsibility to support all cost-based pricing contracts by supplying and verifying product costs.
To guarantee accuracy and compliance with corporate regulations, keep an eye on inventory transactions and processes, especially those involving scrap, inventory, and COGS.
Monthly Close/Account Reconciliation
Responsible for all inventory and cost of goods sold accounts in the general ledger
Together, you should assess the necessary inventory reserves, confirm that periodic cycle counts and physical inventories are being followed, and reconcile the results.
Determine possible problems, then work with other functional teams to solve them.
Budget/Forecast Planning
Participates in creating the annual budget, which includes creating the standard costs
Calculate sales results for your territory and support them in accordance with the annual incentive reward schemes.
Prepare and evaluate sales data in accordance with program requirements and criteria.
Other tasks not mentioned above that are delegated by your immediate supervisor
Skills and Experience Required:
Full comprehension of cost accounting and general accounting principles
Identify and resolve issues of various types where data analysis calls for the reconciliation and assessment of recognizable components.
When choosing approaches and procedures to find solutions, use your judgment while adhering to generally accepted standards and policies.
Working knowledge of the finance and cost/operations sections of ERP
Ability to deal with a variety of occasionally challenging conditions and handle problems practically
Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, and Word), cost tracking software, internet usage, and invention are all examples of computer hardware and software. having the ability to learn other applications using company-provided training.
Required Qualification:

An accounting or similar subject bachelor's degree

Experience with Ross ERP's financial and cost modules, preferably over a period of three to five years, and in a process manufacturing context

Strong communication abilities and the capacity to communicate financial data in an effective, comprehensible manner are both assets.

Strong organizational abilities, the capacity to work independently and collaboratively, and self-motivation are necessary.

Ability to prioritize activities and perform many tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
