Valedictory Function of Hindi Fortnight–2025 Held at ICAR-RCER, Patna

ICAR Research Complex, Patna, concluded Hindi Fortnight–2025 with a valedictory function on 29th September. The event highlighted the importance of Hindi in official work and felicitated winners of various competitions.

The valedictory function of Hindi Fortnight–2025 was organized on 29th September 2025 at the ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region, Patna. The event marked the conclusion of a series of programmes and competitions held to promote the use of Hindi in official work.

Addressing the gathering, the Acting Director of the institute, Dr. Ashutosh Upadhyaya, highlighted that the increased use of Hindi in official work is not only a constitutional responsibility but also a reflection of one’s commitment towards duty. He encouraged all officers and staff members to prioritize Hindi in their day-to-day official tasks.

On this occasion, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Head, DCR, and Dr. Ujjwal Kumar, Head, DSEE, also shared their views on the importance of the official language. They emphasized the need to disseminate scientific achievements and research findings to the common people in Hindi, ensuring wider outreach and understanding.

The winners of various competitions organized during Hindi Fortnight–2025 were felicitated with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation. The programme was conducted and coordinated by Dr. Shivani, Principal Scientist, and Umesh Kumar Mishra, Hindi Translator, with active support from other committee members.
