"A special provision has been made in the Union Budget for the development of green energy and renewable energy, including hydrogen energy. As a result, the proposed scheme's implementation will undoubtedly benefit all Himalayan states, including Uttarakhand," said CM Dhami.

He stated that the budget was prepared with the concept of overall country development in mind, under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "The provisions made for various sectors such as agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, and drinking water will accelerate Uttarakhand's development," he added.

Earlier, while speaking on the Union Budget, CM Dhami stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India has assumed the role of a global leader. "The Union Budget 2023-24 is an important step towards a strong India. This is the budget of Amrit Kaal, India's golden age," said Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

"Today, when the economies of most countries are faltering, the whole world has high expectations from India. This budget is moving in this direction," Dhami explained. The Chief Minister stated that the various provisions and schemes included in the budget will benefit Uttarakhand in particular.

The Chief Minister stated that Uttarakhand will benefit from various provisions in the Union Budget. "The state's share of federal taxes has risen. This represents a 25% increase over the previous year. The state's share of central taxes was approximately Rs 9130 crores last year, and it will now be approximately Rs 11428 crores. The states' interest-free loan for 50 years has been extended for another year. This is a critical opportunity for the state," said CM Dhami.

Cheap renewable electricity could provide 65 percent of the world's total electricity supply by 2030. It has the potential to decarbonize 90 percent of the power sector by 2050, significantly reducing carbon emissions and aiding in climate change mitigation.
