UPSC Assistant Mining Engineer 2023: Eligibility
Engineering degree in mining, mechanical, or drilling from a recognized university or institute, or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE).
In the event of candidates who are otherwise well qualified, qualifications may be relaxed at the Union Public Service Commission's discretion for reasons that must be documented in writing.
UPSC Assistant Mining Engineer 2023: Duties

As a camp-in-charge, complete administrative and technical control over the drill unit.

Careful use and maintenance, fixing and maintaining equipment and vehicles, paying road taxes, getting a fitness certificate, and starting an account for car parts, among other things.

Drilling operation planning and supervision, indent raising, and store and account maintenance.

Provisioning POL, pieces, dirt, etc.

Survey reports for unusable stockpiles;

Survey results.

Reporting on drilling activities and returning to HQ

Coordinating borehole allocation, closure, logging, etc. with local authorities and field geologists.
