The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially announced the results of the National Defence Academy (NDA) 1 examination for 2025. Candidates who took part in the exam can now view their results by visiting the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

The NDA 1 exam was conducted earlier this year on April 13, 2025. As per the usual timeline, UPSC releases the NDA results within 20 days after the examination. The selection procedure for NDA involves two major stages: the written examination followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, with results announced separately for each stage.

How to check UPSC NDA Results 2025

To access the UPSC NDA 1 result, candidates should follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

  2.  On the homepage, click on the link provided for the NDA 1 result.

  3. A new page will open, displaying the result PDF.

  4. Scroll through the PDF or use the search function to find your roll number.

  5. After locating your roll number, it is advisable to take a printout of the result for future reference.

Candidates who have cleared the written exam must register themselves on the Indian Army’s official recruitment website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, within two weeks of the result announcement. Those who have already registered earlier do not need to register again. Following registration, candidates will be informed about their selection centre and the date of the SSB interview through their registered email ID.

Candidates who qualify for the written exam will proceed to the next phase, the SSB interview. They must select their interview date and generate the call-up letter from the respective service board’s website. The SSB interview is a crucial round designed to assess a candidate’s intelligence, aptitude, and personality. This process includes two stages and carries a total of 900 marks. Only candidates who successfully clear Stage 1 will move forward to Stage 2.

The SSB interview is a comprehensive five-day process, during which various tests and activities are conducted to evaluate the candidates' overall suitability for a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
