UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2025: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications for 230 vacancies in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. The recruitment is being conducted for the posts of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO) and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC). A total of 156 vacancies have been announced for the EO/AO post, while 74 vacancies are available for the APFC post. These positions are permanent and classified under Group B (EO/AO) and Group A (APFC) non-ministerial categories.

Educational Qualifications

• EO/AO: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• APFC: Bachelor’s degree (essential); Diploma in Company Law, Labour Laws, or Public Administration (desirable).

Relaxation in essential qualifications may be granted by the UPSC in cases of otherwise well-qualified candidates.

Recruitment Process

Candidates will be shortlisted through a Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) followed by an interview. The weightage for the final selection is 75% for the CRT and 25% for the interview.

CRT Exam Pattern:

• Duration: 2 hours

• Type: Objective (MCQs)

• Medium: English and Hindi

• Negative Marking: 1/3rd for each incorrect answer

The recruitment test will be conducted in 78 cities across India including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Hyderabad. Exam centres will be allotted on a first-apply-first-allot basis.
