According to an official statement, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2022 on Tuesday evening.

The candidates who have cleared the exam will have to appear for the Personality Test (Interview) for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and other Central Services (Group 'A' and Group 'B') based on the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2022, administered by the Union Public Service Commission.

It must be noted that the candidates' eligibility is conditional upon being judged to be eligible in all respects. To substantiate their eligibility and reservation claims, the candidates must present the original certificates.

UPSC Civil Services Mains Interview Date

The dates of personality tests (interviews), which will take place at the Union Public Service Commission's office at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069, will be announced in due course.

It is usually not possible to request a change to the Personality Test (Interview) date or time that has been notified to the candidates.

It is mandatory for all applicants who progressed to the Personality Tests (Interviews) to complete and submit their Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II).

Important Note for UPSC Candidates

Candidates are urged to make an extremely careful record of their choices for various services or jobs. In this context, Rule 21 (1) is also called for consideration.

Candidates are urged to frequently check dopt.gov.in or cseplus.nic.in for updates on Service Allocation, Cadre allotment, etc.

The candidates who wish to indicate IAS/IPS as their Service Preference are advised to indicate all the Zones and Cadres in the order of preference in their online Detailed Application Form-II, in accordance with the current Cadre Allocation Policy applicable for the Civil Services Examination-2022.

Therefore, following the above Rules of the Examination provisions, all of these candidates must complete and submit DAF-II ONLINE ONLY, which will be made available on the Union Public Service Commission's website (upsconline.nic.in) from December 8 through December 14 at 6:00 p.m. If they fail to do so, their candidature will be canceled, and the Commission will not respond to any correspondence in this regard. Furthermore, such candidates will not receive an e-Summon Letter.

The Commission will not consider any requests for changes or modifications of any kind to the information provided in DAF-I and DAF-II. However, candidates are recommended to notify the Commission of any changes to their address or contact information, if any, as soon as possible by letter, email ([email protected]), or fax at 011-23387310, 011-23384472 within seven days of the publishing of this press note.

The marks sheets for all candidates will be posted on the Commission's website within 15 days of the day the final result was published [after the Personality Tests (Interview)] and will be accessible there for 30 days.
