The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the admit cards for the 2024 Agriculture Services Preliminary Examination. Candidates who are set to take part in this crucial exam can now download their hall tickets by visiting the UPPSC’s official website. To access their admit card, candidates will need to input their One-Time Registration (OTR) number, date of birth, and a verification code.
The preliminary examination is scheduled to take place on August 18, 2024. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and will be conducted at various examination centers spread across five districts: Prayagraj, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Kanpur Nagar, and Meerut.
The UPPSC has issued a notification advising all candidates to download their admit card and examination instructions using their OTR number. Additionally, candidates are reminded to reach their respective examination centers at the specified date and time mentioned on their hall tickets. It is mandatory to carry two photographs, along with the original and a photocopy of their ID proof to the examination center.
Successful candidates who clear the preliminary exam will qualify to sit for the Main (Written) Examination. The final selection for the available positions will be based on the combined marks from the Main Examination and the subsequent Interview. Recruitment will adhere to the service rules relevant to the posts.
The exam, which aims to fill 268 vacancies, will follow a competitive selection process. The pay scale for selected candidates ranges from Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800, with a Revised Pay Scale at Level-7 in the Pay Matrix of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. Additionally, some positions offer a higher pay scale of Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100, with a Grade Pay of Rs 5,400 (Revised Pay Scale Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500, Pay Matrix Level-10).
