Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2022-23 in a paperless format on February 1, 2022, the Finance Ministry announced today.

For the first time, the Union Budget for 2021-22 was issued in a paperless format. Members of Parliament (MPs) and the general public may now access Budget papers with ease thanks to the launch of the "Union Budget Mobile App."
After the budget presenting procedure in Parliament is finished on February 1, 2022, the Union Budget 2022-23 will be published on the Mobile App.
According to the ministry, the mobile App provides full access to 14 Union Budget papers, including the budget speech, yearly financial statement (often referred to as Budget), demand for grants (DG), Finance Bill, and other constitutionally mandated documents. The app is multilingual (English and Hindi) and works on both Android and iOS devices.
The Union Budget Web Portal also has the App available for download (www.indiabudget.gov.in). The general public will be able to obtain the budget materials through the Union Budget Web Portal (www.indiabudget.gov.in).
