All Aadhaar card holders must read the important notice that UIDAI, the government organization that issues Aadhaar cards to all Indian citizens, has published.
It has been observed that most of the people don't bother to maintain the quality of their Aadhaar cards. They frequently twist it, which causes it to tear, and many people tamper with their Aadhar cards in various ways.
However, the Aadhar card users have not yet seen any difference because all they need to complete their tasks is the 12-digit Aadhar number. But going forward, that won't be the case. UIDAI has therefore urged all cardholders to protect their Aadhar cards and not damage them in any way.

Never #Tamper with your Aadhaar. Always handle it carefully.

All cardholders have been instructed by UIDAI to verify the veracity or authenticity of their Aadhaar card before using it as identification. In this case, the Aadhaar card's QR code must be scanned in order to verify its authenticity. It will be quite challenging to use the QR code to verify the validity of your Aadhaar card if it has been damaged due to any reason.
There is a chance that the scanner won't be able to read the QR code on your Aadhaar card in this situation. You'll have issues as a result of this in several ways. Because of this, it is now essential to take good care of your Aadhaar card. To prevent damage to their cards, UIDAI has asked all cardholders not to twist their cards.
