The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the UGC NET test for June 2025. The registration window is now open for eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam. Interested applicants can submit their forms online through the official website: ugcnetjun2025.ntaonline.in

Important Dates

1. Last date to apply: May 7, 2025 (up to 11:59 PM)

2. Last date for fee payment: May 8, 2025 (till 11:59 PM)

3. Correction window: May 9 to May 10, 2025 (till 11:59 PM)

4. Tentative exam dates: June 21 to June 30, 2025

The NTA has also informed that the schedule for downloading exam city slips and admit cards will be announced later.

UGC NET June 2025: Application Fee

Candidates must pay the application cost according to their category:

1. General (Unreserved): Rs. 1150

2. General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs. 600

3. SC/ST/Third Gender: Rs. 325

4. The fee can be paid online using credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.

Mode and Pattern of the Examination

The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be administered in the computer-based test (CBT) modality. The paper will have two sections with objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Paper 1:

• Number of Questions: 50

• Total Marks: 100

Paper 2:

• Number of Questions: 100

• Total Marks: 200

The test will last three hours, and each right answer will get two points. There are no penalty points for wrong responses. Questions that are not answered or attempted will not be graded.
