Titanic Submarine's debris found lying underwater on Thursday by a remote-controlled vehicle, confirmed the US Coast Guard. Titanic Submarine or the missing Titan submersible are trending all over the web these days. A submersible with five people aboard has been missing since Sunday. They all were on a 10-hour round trip to watch the wreckage of a Titanic ship in the North Atlantic Ocean. Shahzada Dawood, Vice-Chairman of Engro Corporation Limited, a Pakistani conglomerate that deals in fertilizers since 1965, along with his son Suleman are trapped inside the submarine.
Hamish Harding, 58, is the chair of the private plane firm Action Aviation. And, a 61-year-old, Stockton Rush, the CEO of OceanGate, the company that is finding Titanic wreckage since 2021.
The vessel lost its contact with the surface two hours after starting its journey and now it is untraceable. According to reports, the oxygen cylinders are almost over with less than 5 hours of backup left.
What Happened to Missing Titan Submersible?
The Polar Prince, the ship that transported the vessel 900 miles down off the Cape Cod, Massachusetts coast, the site of the Titanic wreck. It was basically sitting at 13,000 feet below sea level. An explosion occurred due to some technical glitch. After examining the situation, the US Coast Guard understood that the debris of the vessel has been lying below 16000 feet from the bow of the Titanic.
“We immediately notified the families,” Rear Admiral John Mauger informed during a press briefing in Boston on Thursday. “On behalf of the US Coast Guard and the entire unified command, I offer my deepest condolences.”
