LPG Prices can Change
Government oil companies retailing Petrol-Diesel review the price of LPG cylinders on the 1st of every month. After the new variant of Coronavirus came out, the price of crude oil has come down drastically. The price of Brent Crude fell by $ 10 per barrel, which is the biggest fall since April 2020. In such a situation, it is expected that in the review of December 1, the prices of LPG cylinders should be reduced.
UAN-Aadhar Linking
EPFO has extended the deadline for linking UAN & Aadhar to 30th November. No further expansion is expected. If UAN-Aadhar is not linked within the time limit, PF will not be able to be deposited in the account of subscribers. Such subscribers will also not be able to withdraw from the PF account.
You May face a Loss of Insurance of 7 lakhs
Another big loss can happen if the UAN-Aadhar link is not done yet by 30th November. EPFO has also made UAN-Aadhar linking mandatory for the Employees Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI).
Otherwise, the employee's premium will not be deposited & he will be deprived of the benefit of insurance cover up to Rs.7 lakh.
Change for Pensioners
The last date for submission of a life certificate for government pensioners is 30th November. The government pensioners who do not submit the life letter within the time limit will stop getting pensions. According to EPFO, government pensioners will have to submit the Jeevan Patra by 30th November, which will be valid for 1 year. This work can also be done digitally from home.
SBI Credit Card to be Expensive
For those people who use SBI credit cards, changes are going to happen from the month of December. Now shopping on EMI with an SBI credit card will become expensive. Till now SBI card used to charge only interest, but now the processing fee will also have to be paid for making purchases on EMI. This will have a direct impact on the pockets of SBI credit card users.
Offers are Expiring on Home Loan
In the festive season, many banks & financial institutions have given home loan offers. These offers range from affordable interest rates to waiving processing fees. Although the offers of most banks are applicable till 31st December 2021, the offer of LIC Housing Finance is expiring this month. The company is offering home loans at the rate of 6.66% to eligible customers on loans up to Rs 2 crore, which expires on 30th November.
