According to K. Chandrasekhar Rao, a complete revolution will occur in India on the day agriculture is transformed into a festival of joy for the entire country's farming community, inspired by the revolutionary progress in Telangana's agricultural sector.

He emphasized the importance of changing the model of the country's agriculture sector with the cooperation and collective efforts of all citizens. KCR also wished farmers and the people of Telangana and India happy Bhogi, Makar Sankranti, and Kanuma festivals.

According to the chief minister, Sankranti is a festival celebrated by farmers on the auspicious occasion of the arrival of paddy stocks from the fields to their homes. Farmers celebrate Sankranti as a day of thanksgiving to Mother Earth.

KCR, as Rao is popularly known, claimed that the Telangana government's efforts to revitalize the agriculture sector have resulted in Telangana villages with green crop fields, heaps of grain stocks, dairy cattle, and the smell of sweet soil, adding to the glitter of Sankranti. He stated that the agricultural progress made by Telangana state has become a model for the entire country.

According to the president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Telangana is the only state that has spent lakhs of crores of rupees to strengthen the agriculture sector. He stated that the government spent more than Rs 2,16,000 crore on Rythu Bandhu, 24-hour free power supply, and irrigation project construction. It demonstrates the Telangana government's commitment to farmers' welfare, he added.

The state government's revolutionary action plan for farmers' welfare and agricultural development activity has increased the cultivated area to 2.40 crore acres from 1.31 crore acres when Telangana was formed. According to KCR, it is a revolutionary development in the country's agriculture sector.

He claimed that agriculture, once thought to be a futile profession, is now a profitable occupation in Telangana, and he instilled confidence in farmers that relying on agriculture will lead to a prosperous life. He stated unequivocally that similar confidence will be instilled in India's farmer community.
