According to Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy, a pro-farmer government at the federal level is required in order to apply the Telangana model of agriculture throughout the country.
On Monday, Niranjan Reddy spoke at the BRS Athmeeya Sammelanam at Beerapalli, Vemsoor mandal. The Telangana government's and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's objective was to provide water for every acre of land and employment for every individual, he said.
Although if the Center offers no support, Telangana spent a significant amount of money on that purpose to give irrigation, free 24-hour electricity, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, and to purchase agricultural products from farmers.
The aforementioned program helped Telangana's agriculture continue to thrive, and a similar program should also benefit the nation's farmers. Telangana was ranked first in development among the States in the nation, the minister said.
Without having any link to the elections, there should be an ongoing conversation about the progress taking place in the communities. According to Niranjan Reddy, Athemeeya Sammelanams are being held to bring together party officials, supporters, and members of the general public.
Each year, the state government allocated Rs. 4.5 lakh crore to agriculture. The Telangana administration was giving Rs. 10,000 per acre to farmers in the State who had been affected by the recent rains notwithstanding the Centre's lack of support.
Despite promising to improve farmers' incomes, the BJP government at the center has merely increased investment expenses. He lamented that the BJP had broken its campaign pledge to provide small and marginal farmers over 60 with a monthly pension.
