Subsidies: The Tamilnadu Adi Dravidar Housing Development Corporation (TAHDCO) is set to provide subsidies to Adi Dravidar farmers for purchasing PVC pipes and electric motors in Chennai. The subsidies include Rs 15,000 for PVC pipes and Rs 10,000 for an electric motor.
TAHDCO Farmer Subsidy: Eligibility
According to TAHDCO, subsidies are available to Adi Dravidar farmers and denotified tribes. Small and marginal farmers from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes are eligible for TAHDCO. Those whose applications for the expedited farm power connection plan are still waiting are also eligible for a subsidy under the scheme.
Farmers who have previously benefited from TAHDCO programmes including land purchase and development plans are eligible to apply for the subsidy.
The applicant’s annual family income shall not exceed Rs 2 lakh, Farmers may apply along with copies of sitta, patta, ration card along with other details on application.tahdco.com. Those belonging to Scheduled and denotified tribes may apply online through fast.tahdco.com.

Tamil Nadu Adi Dravidar Housing and Development Corporation Limited (TAHDCO) was incorporated in 1974 under the Companies Act, 1956. The Government of Tamil Nadu and the Government of India contribute to the Share Capital of the Corporation. At present, the Authorized Share Capital of the Corporation is Rs. 150.00 Cr and paid-up share capital is Rs.128.27 Cr.
Though the Corporation was initially started as a Construction Company in 1974, the activities of the Corporation was extended to enable it to undertake a wide spectrum of economic development schemes for income generation, skill development training for Scheduled caste and Scheduled Tribes in the State.
