ASSOCHAM organized a curtain raiser event of SMARTecIndia 2021 at Hall- Inspire, Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi on 17 November 2021 from 11:00 AM onwards. The event will also be telecast live on all social media channels of ASSOCHAM.
The SMARTecIndia Initiative is a unique digital platform that has reached out to maximum target audience all over the world to showcase, reward, recognize and celebrate the world of smart technologies and how they are making our lives and businesses smarter and simpler.
The curtain raiser event was attended and addressed by many dignitaries across the world including Petula Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, Indo Australian Chamber of Commerce.
Petula Thomas was representing Indo Australian chamber of commerce at the opening event of SMARTecIndia Initiative and was very excited to be part of this wonderful initiative. She said, "This event will provide an amazing opportunity to the Australian Companies to engage on a one-to-one basis with the Indian Technology Giants and build commercial partnerships.
She also said that both India & Australia are working in the field of the digital economy, AI, space technology & cyber security and this event provides an excellent opportunity for mutual growth.
About Petula Thomas:
Petula went from being a business leader to a socialite in a short period of time, and in May 2019, she was appointed as the Director of the Indo-Australian Chamber. She successfully established the Chamber's Mumbai Chapter. She was the member of an Australian Consulate General group which met the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in July to boost bilateral engagement.
She has 15 years of experience in strategic leadership, customer/client engagement, Communications/digital strategy, HR/learning & development, business development, policy compliance, risk, stakeholder and project management.
