Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his admiration for Chouhan’s contributions. "Heartfelt birthday wishes to Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji, a dedicated leader of the BJP and my colleague in the government. He is playing a crucial role in the welfare of the nation's agriculture and farmer brothers and sisters, as well as in the development of villages. I pray to God for his long life and healthy existence," Modi wrote.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, born on March 5, 1959, in Jait village of Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, has had an illustrious political career. His journey began with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and later saw him rise within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Chouhan served as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh from 2005 to 2018 and again from 2020 to 2023, making him one of the longest-serving Chief Ministers of the state.
In June 2024, he was appointed as the Union Minister of Agriculture, Farmers' Welfare, and Rural Development, where he has been actively working on policies to uplift the agricultural sector and improve rural infrastructure. His leadership has focused on increasing farmers’ incomes, promoting modern farming techniques, and ensuring rural prosperity.
