Additionally, heatwave conditions are prevailing in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Saurashtra & Kutch, with hot and humid weather affecting parts of Jharkhand as well. The IMD has warned that the situation may worsen in several regions in the coming days.

Over the next week, the IMD predicts that heatwave conditions will intensify in West Madhya Pradesh, West Rajasthan, and East Madhya Pradesh. Other states under alert include Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, and Gangetic West Bengal, where heatwave conditions are expected to persist until April 26.
