The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for the positions of Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Deputy Chief Technology Officer (e-channels), and Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Core Banking).
The online application for the posts opened on March 4, 2022, and the last date to apply is March 31, 2022. Interested applicants should apply online at https://bank.sbi/web/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/web/careers on the bank's website.
The selection process of SBI
The selection will be based on shortlisting and interviews. For shortlisting, “Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview. The Bank's shortlisting committee will determine the shortlisting parameters, and an acceptable number of candidates, as determined by the Bank, will be shortlisted for interview. The Bank's decision to invite candidates for interviews shall be final. "In this regard, no correspondence will be entertained," the Bank stated.
The Interview:
The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank. In this regard, no correspondence will be entertained. Merit list: The selection merit list will be generated in descending order based only on interview results. If more than one applicant achieves the cut-off points (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked in the merit list in descending order based on their age, according to the Bank.
