During the event, he will also engage with beneficiaries of AHDF-KCC who are connected through CSC and State Animal Husbandry Department. This initiative aims to provide Kisan Credit Card (KCC) facilities to all small landless farmers involved in animal husbandry and fisheries activities.

To extend the benefits of the Kisan Credit Card to all eligible animal husbandry, dairy, and fishery farmers in the country, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, in collaboration with the Departments of Fisheries (DOF) and Financial Services (DFS), is organizing a "Nationwide AHDF KCC Campaign" from May 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.

On March 13, 2023, the circular with specific rules for organizing this campaign was distributed to states. D/o Financial Services has also provided the required orders to banks and the State Government.

Since June 2020, the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, in collaboration with the Department of Financial Services, has been organising various campaigns to provide Kisan Credit Card facility to all eligible Animal Husbandry and Fishery Farmers.

As a result, over 27 lakh new KCC were sanctioned to Animal Husbandry and Fishery Farmers, providing them with an organisational credit line to satisfy their working capital requirements. The most recent National AHDF KCC Campaign took place from 15.11.2021 to 15.03.2023.

During this Campaign, District Level KCC Camps were organized every week by the KCC Coordination Committee, which was coordinated by the Lead District Manager (LDM), for on-the-spot verification of applications sourced from farmers by officials from the State Animal Husbandry and Fisheries department.

Over 100,000 farmers were virtually engaged in an awareness campaign via Common Service Centres, aimed at disseminating important information.
